A few of the many assistive technologies are listed below commonly used by people with vision impairments to access digital content such as websites, apps, and touch-screen devices.
Vision impairments include learners who have patchy, partial or complete blindness, or have blurry vision that glasses cannot correct.
This is not a complete list as several assistive technologies depend on the user’s preference and disability. Please interview users about their preferences in the research, design, and testing phases of your product or content.
